What’s in the name?
Our business name is simple, easy to remember and provides insights into our products, all in one go :)
What was the inspiration to start your business?
Back in 2018, I identified a gap in the Australian market for cocktail making kits. It took a lot of hard work to collaborate with distillers & makers, to design custom product sizes and more.
The business really took off at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and all the hard work finally paid off. With so many businesses hurting, it was great to collaborate with local distillers and drink makers to help give them a new sales and marketing platform.
What brings a smile to your face during a workday?
The Cocktail Shop is meant to be fun. It makes me smile to think our cocktail kits would brighten someone’s day, especially during lockdowns when corporates were sending cocktail kits to staff working remotely.
Everyone must be winning. During the pandemic, all our staff were out of work hospitality workers. It brings joy to support small, craft distilleries and liquor businesses through our platform and create an income stream for our staff during the tough pandemic.
How would you like people to remember your products or service?
We want people to remember us when they think back to a fun and joyful memory of their virtual work event with our cocktail kits. We see the love through the feedback and reviews our customers leave us.
We also want our clients to remember us for our customer service. We are dedicated to a seamless customer journey from purchasing to delivery to mixing delicious cocktails in the comfort of their home. We like to go the extra mile for our customers and truly believe in continuous improvement.
